Location:  Addison, TX (Hybrid)

Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst will the support the Vice President of M&A. The individual will be part of a high energy and fast paced environment. Support will include analyzing new business opportunities, financial modeling, cash flow modeling, sales force reporting and management, assisting with internal and client presentations, etc. in order to grow the existing client base and acquire new clients.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Perform valuation analysis and financial modeling for prospective and live transactions.
  • Support financial and operational due diligence analysis of target companies and identify and resolve key deal issues
  • Support deal team and other leaders in developing and presenting executive-level memoranda, presentations, and detailed financial analysis to share with senior leadership
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses to evaluate growth opportunities and support key corporate initiatives
  • Support ad hoc projects (e.g., analysis of prospect pipeline, tracking of prior investments, etc.) and other administrative tasks

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Exceptional MS Excel, database, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Familiarity with financial statement analysis and valuation techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to create PowerPoint materials for pitches and management presentations.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to define, collect and document complex business and technical requirements.
  • Analytical skill to quickly understand and contribute to strategic initiatives.
  • Comfortable in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment, strong attention to detail.
  • Highly adaptable.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with strong record of academic success.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity or corporate development
  • Experience / background in the healthcare industry preferred but not required
